Dating back to the Prehistoric Age, the Cave Dwelling Remains are located adjacent to Hallym University, at the foot of Bongui Mountain. The Cave was discovered in October of 1962. The Cave, dug out by prehsitoric people, still bears the remains of soot aon the ceiling, and was used as a burial site after it was used as a dwelling. Some of the remains found in the cave include: a large stone ax, five small stone axes, two stone knives, two stone weights, seven arrowheads, one awl, one round gem, one fragment of crystal, five pieces of earthenware, and one white jade stone. All of these remains can be viewed at the National Central Museum.
